We have all heard
the song “The church is not a building; the church is not a steeple;
the church is not a resting place; the church is a people.” But a
vibrant, growing church like St. Paul’s requires an infrastructure
sufficient enough yet flexible enough to serve many ministries and
activities. The building, the office staff, the finance and budget
issues all need to be dealt with by members gifted in those areas. And
in all these, St. Paul’s has been blessed with the resources we need to
be God’s hands and feet in this world.
The Administrative Team
includes the Trustees, the Finance Committee, the treasurer and
financial secretary, the admin folks in the office, and our janitorial
and grounds keeping folks.

Our paid office
staff is always looking for volunteers to help them with the numerous
day-to-day tasks of providing administrative support for the many
functions and provisions of the church. Stop by the office to see where
we could use your help. All requirements for meeting rooms as well as
any other building usage need to be filtered through the POC above
(Building Use & Facilities Manager) so we can share our spaces to
meet everyone’s requests.
Trustees

Trustees are
responsible for the building and property of the church. Most members
serve many hours each month seeing to the needs of the building and
grounds. We are always looking for volunteers to help with regular
maintenance, such as mowing the grounds. The Trustees sponsor multiple
“work days” that are open to the congregation and designed to help keep
our church in good working order and looking great. Work days are
typically on specified Saturday mornings from 8:00am-12:00pm. As a
community ministry, we typically sponsor a home for the “Christmas in
April” project. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in
this project.
MEETING TIME: 1st Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm at
the church.
Finance
Committee
Roger Ball................................
Maintaining the
financial integrity of the church is the responsibility of this team.
We help church council develop its budget. Our counters tally each
Sunday’s service offerings and provide the information to the Financial
Secretary, who maintains records of giving and provides quarterly
reports to families and individuals in the congregation. The Treasurer
is responsible for tracking all income and expenses, paying bills and
preparing records for annual audit.
