Core Values are the "non
negotiable" principles that guide our identity and our actions.
Because God has brought us together as a church called St. Paul's, we
use these core values as the "house rules" for how we live
and work and play and minister together. Our core values determine how
we are to journey together toward the common vision God has laid before
us. We believe that...
- We are created to
worship and bring glory to God.
- Individuals and churches
are transformed by inspired teaching grounded in God's Word, the
Bible.
- God loves all the
people of the world, and so should we.
- Followers
of Christ have three areas where their faith journey is lived
out...
- With self through personal authenticity rooted
in Christ-like conduct.
- With others through loving, Christ-guided
relationships
- With God through a living relationship with His
Son, Jesus Christ.
- All
followers of Christ have been given servants' hearts and diverse
spiritual gifts, enabling them to work together in unity.
- Life-changing
renewal takes place best in Christ-centered small groups. God has
gifted both men and women to lead His Church through the power of
His Holy Spirit.
